BenAsk designs plan-selection, document review, and concierge experiences so they work for people who rely on assistive technologies, keyboard-only navigation, or adjusted display settings. Our target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA for primary consumer flows (marketing pages, authentication, dashboard, onboarding, claims, and documents). Automated checks (including axe and Playwright) run in CI; manual spot reviews supplement them when we ship major UI changes.

How to report barriers

Email accessibility@benask.com with the page URL, steps to reproduce, browser + OS version, and assistive technology (for example VoiceOver + Safari or NVDA + Firefox). We acknowledge reports within a few business days and work toward a practical fix or workaround.

You can also use the general Support form if you prefer a single intake path—please mention "Accessibility" in the subject.

Known limitations

Third-party authentication: Clerk-hosted widgets may lag our styling or focus management; we report upstream defects and apply compensating labels in our layout when possible.
Complex data visualizations: Dense plan-comparison tables can require horizontal scrolling on small screens; we provide text summaries where feasible and continue improving responsive layouts.
AI chat transcripts: Long markdown replies may be tedious in screen readers; we encourage headings and lists in model output and offer download alternatives when available.
PDF uploads: User-provided PDFs may be scanned images without text layers—OCR quality varies and can affect assistive access until processing completes.

Technical standards & testing

We reference W3C WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria, document focus order, maintain minimum color-contrast ratios for core text, and label interactive controls with visible focus rings. Pull requests that touch UI must keep automated accessibility checks passing where configured.
